Suffork-born Peter Berry, 54 was diagnosed at the age of 50, with early onset Alzheimer's. Previously the owner of a thriving timber business, Peter was suddenly unable to run the business.
Book for children
A book, titles Mr Alzheimers, has been released into five schools in Salford, to teach children about alzheimer's and dementia. The idea for 'Mr Alzheimers' was created by Joy Watson, who had first created a teddy for her children to teach them about what is happening to their granny.
